100% Korean

My partner was excited to try this Korean restaurant she found online. The location is just right before the midland, and it’s easily visible from the road. However, the dining area is limited to two small chairs facing the street, so it’s definitely a takeout place. We ordered the special combo #1, which included pork bone soup, japchae, and tteok-bokki, along with a side of rice. The food was simply amazing. The kamjatang, a rich and meaty soup, had a perfect balance of flavours and just the right amount of spice. My only complaint is that there wasn’t much soup, but there was plenty of meat! The japchae was also very good, with a delightful balance of sweet and salty flavours. It’s a simple dish, but don’t be fooled by its simplicity. And lastly, the tteok-bokki was a special version that my partner usually makes when you order the combo. It includes seafood, but unfortunately, I couldn’t try it due to my shellfish allergy. However, my partner raved about it, saying it was pretty good. The combo only includes one side of rice, so you’ll definitely need an extra if you’re sharing. But there’s also the japchae, which is a great option. The owner told us that the side dishes change every day, and with the combo, you get to choose three. All of the choices we made were simply amazing. Overall, this is a hidden gem of Korean food. It’s only takeout, so be mindful of that. The owner was incredibly friendly and it’s clear that she prepares the food on the day of. We’ll definitely be back when we want to grab a quick Korean meal on the go!

Got the pork bone soup; comes with rice and 3 sides. It was very flavourful. Only downside was the soup was oily thus the minus 1 star. But overall would come back to try the other items on the menu. Owner was also nice. Great service.

The beef rice bowl was so good! Will be ordering again. The owner is so kind and makes the food right in front of you.

A very delicious lunch bento box packed with a variety of side dishes. I ordered the kalbi and portion was generous for the price. The owner perfected the flavoring and seasoning of the dishes. Expect some wait time as the owner works alone and has a lot to prepare. Looking forward to coming back.

We came here on September 21, 2024 based on a Facebook short. This is primarily a pick up location but she made space for us to sit. We got Combo 2 for two people. Bimbimba, minced pork black bean udon and sweet spicy fried chicken. It comes with a big plate of Pick-3 side items. We really like the sweet glass noodle and shredded potato. Very good food. One thing I like in our Bibimba (spelling ?) is 5 types of veggie. Cabbage, carrots, kimchi, cucumber and green bean. She said her Specialty is the Rice Bowl. It comes with her special sauce and dumplings. We will get that next time ! Give this place a try if you are looking for authentic Korean food.

Fantastic little place offering huge flavours. Mainly for take out. Order ahead as this is a one-woman show and sometimes she gets super busy. My go-to for yummy Korean food in north Scarborough.

First, don’t come right at opening or you may not get what you want. The owner is likely still prepping. Second, her tone may come off rude, but she is very friendly and charming once you get her talking. This is basically Korean style home cooking. I mean that in the best way. The portions are generous and you get good value. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The banchan is top notch.

This is a great take out place. The lady owner let us eat in with the space that is available so we thanked her for that cause we were hungry. We ordered Soup tofu and gamjatang, and oh boy we found a hidden gem! Its authentic homemade and both dishes are excellent! The side dish are great too, love the glass noodle and the papaya kimchi. 100% recommend this take out place.
